Vocational education

Jouko Parviainen

There are many vocational education institutions throughout Europe. Vocational education aims at educating forestry professionals through practical training. Students may graduate, for example, as forest workers, forest machine operators, or paper machine operators. Vocational education is typically provided by secondary level schools and it usually takes two-three years to graduate. Links to institutes that provide forestry-related education are listed in this section.
