2nd TitleGraduate School 1086 - The Role of Biodiversity for Biogeochemical Cycles and Biotic Interactions in Temperate Deciduous Forests (PhD)
CreatorPlant Ecology and Ecosystem Research, University of Göttingen
DescriptionThe Research Training Group investigates the role of tree species diversity in broad-leaved deciduous forests for productivity, carbon sequestration, nutrient and water turnover, deep seepage, nitrate leaching, and biotic interactions among key organism groups as well as for ecosystem services. It offers PhD grants, postdoc grants, and qualification grants for BSc graduates. The study and research program is structured into 3 subprograms: A – Biodiversity analysis and biotic interactions, B – Biogeochemical cycles, and C – Synthesis.
