DescriptionINRA is a large public research organization composed of 14 research departments and 21 regional centres. Research related to forests and forest products is carried out in Department of Forest, Grassland and Freshwater Ecology; Department for Science and Process Engineering of Agricultural Products (including Wood and fibre sector); Department of Social Sciences, Agriculture and Food, Environment and Space. Other departments undertaking research related to forests include: Environment and Agronomy Department; Science for Action and Sustainable Development Department; and the Foresight Unit. INRA also provides access to a number of research resources through their website, including: PoplarDB (a functional genomics database for Poplar); PubInra (bibliographic database cataloguing the publications of INRA units and the results of scientists in all fields of INRA research); EctomycorrhizaDB (a database of the International Mycorrhiza Genome Consortium).
