DescriptionThe Regional Forest Estates Centres (CRPF) are publicly-owned establishments and their mission is to direct the management of private forests in France. The objectives include: preparation of the 22 regional forest management plans; approval of the 33 000 management plans of private forests of more than 25 ha (an area of 3 400 000 ha); development of the forestry code of practice and ensure compliance with the code; approval/payment of grants. The CRPF also provide training and information services to forest owners. This webpage provides links to the webpages of the 18 regional centres of mainland France and Corsica (January 2008 - 16 of the regions had linked webpages, and the webpages for the 2 other regions were under development).
