CreatorEuropean Forest Nurseries Association (EFNA)
DescriptionThe European Forest Nursery Association (EFNA) is an organisation primarily looking after the interests of the private forest nursery and forest seed industries within the European Union. The role of the Association is to represent and to defend the interests of the private and state owned producers of forest seed and plants provided the latter are members of that country's nursery trade organisation and of all other activities relevant to the profession. The Association is responsible particularly for giving the official views of the private seed and nursery sector on all matters concerning Forest Reproductive Material to the European Commission. The Association meets annually to review the past season's activities and prospects for the new season and to consider any new European legislation or initiatives which may affect the running of the industry. The website provides important information about the Supplier's documentation that should be received from other European Union countries when buying Forest Reproductive Material from them.
