Description'International Forest Ecosystem Management' (IFEM) is a six-term Bachelor Programme taught in German and English. The curriculum consists of studying a wide variety of different forest ecosystems and management strategies in temperate, boreal and tropical regions. Internationally renowned guest lecturers are invited on a regular basis to teach subjects in English, and to give up-to-date information on their areas of expertise. A practical field training abroad during the fifth semester is part of the course of study.
