DescriptionNOVA is a network for cooperation between Nordic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural Universities/Faculties. NOVA's task is to initiate, administrate and promote cooperation between member institutions, in MSc and PhD education. The members are: University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (KU-HEALTH) and Faculty of Science (KU-SCIENCE); Arhus University, Science and Technology; University of Helsinki (AU-ST), Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry (HU-AF) and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (HU-V); University of Eastern Finland, Faculty of Science and Forestry (UEF-F); Agricultural University of Iceland (LBHI); Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU); Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). The NOVA member universities deal with socially vital sectors and issues, including sustainable use of natural resources, food production from natural resources, job creation in agribusiness and related fields, the safeguarding of the health and welfare of animals and people and enhancement of the capacity for use of land, water, plants and animals according to sustainable principles.
